WHO ARE WE?

8FLAMEZ is a creator management company + venture studio, co-founded by AboFlah. We build businesses with leading creators across MENA, with creators owning what they build. We’re hiring a dedicated bookkeeper to keep the Ventures business + its portfolio companies accurate, organized and up to date.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

You will own the day-to-day bookkeeping across our ventures. We need to know what came in, what went out, what is owed + what needs attention, without reconstructing the numbers every month.

• Maintain separate, accurate books for the Ventures entity + each portfolio company, with every transaction recorded against the correct business.

• Reconcile bank accounts, cards, online store sales + payment gateways, including fees, refunds, chargebacks and settlement differences.

• Manage customer + supplier invoices, follow up on missing documents and overdue balances, and prepare payment schedules for approval.

• Maintain inventory + product-cost records with the operations team, and reconcile approved supplier, creator and platform payouts.

• Record intercompany transactions + approved cost allocations, with supporting documents and matching balances on both sides.

• Prepare monthly profit and loss, balance sheet + cash reports for review. Keep reconciliations current rather than leaving the work until month-end.

• Organize the records needed for tax filings + audits, working with our finance team and external advisers. Flag errors, duplicate payments and unexplained balances early.

GOT WHAT IT TAKES?

You’re borderline meticulous about records, reconciliations + getting the numbers right.

• You have personally managed bookkeeping + month-end work for multiple businesses. E-commerce, inventory or consumer-product experience is particularly relevant.

• You are confident with Xero, QuickBooks, Zoho Books or an equivalent accounting system, alongside Excel or Google Sheets.

• You have practical experience preparing UAE VAT records + supporting accountants through reporting and filing cycles. ADGM company experience is an advantage.

• You follow missing documents through to resolution, handle sensitive information discreetly + explain issues clearly. Fluent English is required. Arabic is a strong advantage, but not essential.
